Risøyhamn Sjøhus is located in the well-known old trading center Risøyhamn with around 200 inhabitants. It is not far to some of Norways best fishing grounds, if you choose open sea or calm fjords like the Andfjord and the Gavlfjord.

Andøy is an inspiring place to be for everyone who enjoys outdoor activities. In the summertime you can enjoy hiking – with striking views from hills and mountains. Try fishing in one of the many lakes and rivers, or get on your bicycle along one of the many forest roads or trails up the mountains. With many sandy white beaches around Andøy, you can also relax on the beach, and maybe have a midnight sun BBQ right by the sea!
 

During winter other activities are on offer. Go skiing – either cross-country, or alpine skiing. Or get your camera out, pack the tripod, and capture your experience of the Northern Lights! And last but not least, during both summer and winter months, Andøy is the perfect place to enjoy an Arctic whale watching tour! Other all-year activities are kayaking, kiting and diving!
