GETTING HERE

By Air
Wideroe has daily flights from Tromsø and Bodø to Andøya airport. In summertime, also Norwegian have direct flights from Oslo to Andøya. Another option is to fly to Evenes/Harstad-Narvik airport and take a connection flight to Andøy, or the bus to Sortland and further to Andøy, or rent a car at the Evenes airport. Both Norwegian and SAS have direct flights from Oslo to Evenes.

By Road
There are bus connections from Sortland (Vesterålen), Leknes and Å (Lofoten) and Narvik to Andøy. For more information and a travel planner see 177nordland.no.
There is a train-connection from Sweden to Narvik. You can also get to Andøy by bus from Tromsø.
If you plan to come by car then follow RV82 from Sortland or Harstad/Narvik.

By Ferry
In summertime it is possible to take the car ferry from Gryllefjord in Senja to Andøy. The timetable for the summer season of 2019 can be found here. Note, that it's not possible to book tickets (except for big busses). First come, first serve. Therefore, we recommend you waiting at the dock 1,5 hours before departure. No guarantees.

The National Tourist Route Andøya is a 51-kilometre-long stretch of road between Andenes and Åkneskrysset on the west coast of Andøya Island.

By Sea
Hurtigruten stops at Risøyhamn in Andøy twice per day all year round. 
In summertime, there is a daily ferry connection between Andenes in Andøy and Gryllefjord in Senja.
