Atelier Nøss

Atelier Nøss is an artist run gallery and studio, in the village Nøss, on the west coast of Andøya, Vesterålen, Norway. Our gallery exhibit a wide specter of works, as paintings, sculptures, photo, textile, graphics art, literature and souvenirs. Incl. Coffee corner.

ATTRACTIONS

Andøy has a number of tourist attractions, all worth a visit. Home to Norway’s only rocket range, Andøy Space Center, Andøy offers you the chance to embark on a simulated journey into space – to do research on the northern lights, at a new visitor center. Exhibitions at local museums illustrate different aspects of Andøy’s history. A visit to Andenes lighthouse is also «a must», offering panoramic views of Andenes and the coastline. Other museums well worth visiting are “Polar museum” in Andenes, «Andøy Nostalgia and Motoring Museum» at Skarstein, the Motorcycle Museum in Dverberg, Åse Bygdemuseum and Andøy Museum department in Risøyhamn.
